Masticating juicers have become more popular recently, especially in the healthy lifestyle department. While the power of centrifugal juicers delivers juice the fastest, masticating juicers, otherwise known as slow juicers, extract juice slowly from the food, producing a better yield.
If you’re looking for a masticating juicer, the Kuvings C7000 Whole Slow Juicer Elite is worth considering.
In this article, you’ll find out what you need to know about this high-quality masticating juicer, including how to use it effectively and clean it.
Kuvings C7000 Features
Many features make this masticating juicer a winner. For starters, while standard masticating juicers have a narrow feed tube, this Kuvings juicer has one that’s 3 inches wide. This shortens your prep time significantly, but it’s still recommended you cut the items being juiced into at least two or three pieces.
This Kuvings juicer uses a single auger to gradually crush the fruits and vegetables you place in the feed chute. It operates at a speed of 60 revolutions per minute (RPM), running on a 240-watt motor.
The Kuvings C7000 extracts a high amount of nutrients with minimal heat buildup and oxidation. It also features a custom-designed sieve, which can be used to strain your juice.
The Kuvings juicer C7000 has a vertical design. Vertical masticating juicers take up much less space than horizontal ones, are more time-efficient, and produce a better juice yield. The juice made with this juicer has a 72-hour shelf life.
This model comes in three colors: red (C7000P), silver (C7000S), and white (C7000W). Another great feature is the safety lock system – it will operate only if all the pieces are correctly assembled and locked in place.
Masticating juicers usually make less noise than centrifugal juice extractors, and the Kuvings C7000 juicer is no exception. However, this juicer will produce less noise and vibration thanks to the built-in quiet design.

How to Use the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer Elite
It only takes a few minutes to assemble this juicer. Just follow the instructions in the manual, and you’ll be able to start making juice right away.
The juice bowl goes directly on the motor base, and the rotation wiper, the juicing strainer, and the auger screw go into the juice bowl. Once you place the feed chute on top of the juice bowl, you’re good to go.
The official Breville video below demonstrates the Kuvings C7000.
Operating the Juicer
Leafy greens, cabbage, beans, carrots, apples, broccoli, asparagus, lemons, grapefruit, strawberries, tomatoes, mango, and many other fruits and vegetables to make your juice can be processed in this Kuvings juicer. You can also make smoothies, nut milks, and sorbet.
While the 3-inch chute can fit whole fruits and vegetables, cutting them up beforehand is still advised. Cut celery and carrots into small pieces (1-2 inches) for easier juicing.
It's a good practice to combine the leafy greens with a fruit or vegetable when you put them in the feed chute. That way, you’ll prevent them from getting stuck in the strainer.
When it’s time to use the juicer, press the power button and place the ingredients in the feed tube piece by piece. Then, use the food pusher to gently push the items towards the auger to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Cleaning the Juicer
After you’ve finished making the juice, you should clean the detachable parts of the juicer thoroughly. Since they aren’t dishwasher-safe, you’ll have to clean them by hand. To ensure all trace residue comes off, you can soak them in warm water for 15 to 20 minutes.
You can use the brushes included with the juicer or a firm toothbrush to clean the juicing basket.
Kuvings C7000 Included Accessories
Since the Kuvings C7000 Whole Slow Juicer Elite is a 3-in-1 juicer, it has optional extensions that allow you to make juice, ice cream, and smoothies.
In addition, there are two strainers – a standard strainer for juicing and a blank strainer for frozen desserts. You can also attach a smoothie strainer to the juicer, but this piece is sold separately.
You’ll also receive two plastic containers to store juice and pulp. This juicer also comes with a non-drip smart cap, which helps ingredients mix more thoroughly in the juice bowl before pouring the liquid into the container. The non-drip smart cap also allows you to clean the juicer more easily.
Aside from the motor base and the juice bowl we mentioned, this juicer consists of a feed chute, a food pusher, a rotation wiper, a juicing strainer, and an auger screw. To clean the juicer, you can use the external rotating easy brush and two standard brushes you get.
As with all Kuvings juicers, you’ll receive a manual and a recipe book to help you set it up. If any of the juicer’s parts are broken or don’t seem to work, you can use the Kuvings 10-year warranty on the juicer.
Who Is the Kuvings C7000 For?
Kuvings has produced high-quality juicers for years, and the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer C7000 is one example. It offers all the features of a top-tier centrifugal juicer – like a large feed chute – and the powerful motor of a cold press juicer.
This slow juicer is not meant for those who need their daily dose of juice quickly. For example, using a centrifugal juicer, you could squeeze all the juice out in under one minute.
On the other hand, masticating juicers are not intended for those who want their juice in a minute or two. To yield one glass of juice (that contains 8 to 16 ounces of juice), you’d need a few minutes to extract the juice.
Another excellent attribute of the Kuvings Juicer C7000 is that it doesn’t produce much noise when it crushes the products. So, if you’re an early bird and your roommates or family members aren’t, you’ll be able to use this juicer early in the morning without waking them up.
Lastly, this Kuvings juicer is highly versatile. Apart from juice, you can use it to make a wide variety of recipes, such as sorbet, ice cream, sauces, smoothies, pasta, soy milk, salsa, baby food, and more. Therefore, if you like to try different recipes and combine various ingredients, this juicer will help you be creative in the kitchen.
Kuvings C7000 vs Kuvings B6000
The Kuvings C7000 is an updated version of the Kuvings B6000. They are both vertical juicers with a cooling system that prevents the juice from getting too hot which helps preserve some nutrients.
A hopper is included with the C7000 juicer. This flat-top funnel can be placed over the chute. It is beneficial when juicing small ingredients such as grapes because it makes it easier to put in the juicer.
A pulp strainer that is placed over the juice cup is also included. This is great if you filter out extra pulp within the juice.
One of the main upgrades from the B6000 to the C7000 is the removal of different silicone components on other parts of the juicer. This means less maintenance is required by the user and reduces the possibility of the part becoming damaged or malfunctioning.
With the Kuvings C7000 Whole Slow Juicer Elite, you’ll be able to make juice that boosts your energy and benefits your immune system. While at it, you can also use this juicer to make sorbet, smoothies, ice cream, or other treats that provide doctor-recommended nutrition.
Since this is a vertical juicer, it doesn't take up as much space on the counter as a horizontal masticating juice machine. This quiet juicer produces dry pulp with little foam.
Kuving's email customer service is impressive. We asked which parts were updated on the C7000. We received a detailed response (removing different silicone components) and a chart comparing the EVO820 Series with the B6000 Series and C7000 Elite Series juicers.
Alternative to Kuvings C7000 Whole Slow Juicer Elite
If you’re looking for a similar product, but the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer C7000 doesn’t meet all your requirements, other options are available. We recommend the Omega VSJ843QS Vertical Slow Masticating Juice Extractor for optimal performance and a high juice yield.
This is also a masticating juicer, and it has two spouts – one for the juice and the other for the pulp. In addition, it comes with a dual-edge auger with tighter fit tolerance that can extract even more juice.
Finally, it’s worth mentioning that this juicer is slower than the Kuvings one, running at a speed of 43 RPM. However, this juicer can process almost any fruit and vegetable, including wheatgrass.
This Omega juicer features a non-drip juice tap at the end of the juice spout. The juice tap can be closed while using the juicer to make a mixture. When you open the juice tap, the juice will flow directly into the cup without spilling the juice.
It has a beautiful, stylish design that is ideal for any kitchen. It’s a vertical juicer, so it takes minimal space on your kitchen counter. In addition, it’s straightforward to assemble, use, and clean. Omega provides a 15-year warranty in case something isn’t working correctly.
